Meet Gioia Dalosso

Reel To Real CIC was founded by Gioia Dalosso, who turned to film to cope with the grief of losing her father to Hepatitis C.

She created short documentary, ‘A Silent Epidemic’, about his journey and its impact on their family, which went on to win an award from the Royal Television Society.

Inspired by storytelling's transformative power, Gioia established Reel To Real to help others heal and advocate through storytelling, honouring her father's legacy by empowering communities facing similar challenges.
